• EXCELLENT PROPERTY

We rented this property for our wedding party and a few other guests in June 2016 and the experience was amazing. We had 13 people stay at the property very comfortably. The pool area is fantastic and no one felt crowded. The main villa and casitas are well maintained.

The owners and property managers made sure that we were well taken care of and made the reservation process very simple.

I would recommend this location to anyone that wants a relaxing vacation. Especially if you have a large group of people that want to stay together.

  • 30TH BIRTHDAY

My husband and I stayed at Casa de Las Palmas for a week in January with 9 of our friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. The house was straight out of a dream, just beautiful!

Sandra was very easy to work with and although we had a couple issues arise, they were quickly dealt with. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • GREAT PROPERTY FOR FAMILY VACATION

The house and grounds are even better than the pictures! The property is so comfortable that many days we never left!! We had 4 generations from all over the US come to Isla - the property was perfect for our group that ranged in age from 9 to 85!

Thank you to Candy for her cleaning help and to Sandra for making sure we were taken care of and making booking very easy.

Would recommend islamujeresgolfcartrentals.com (book & pay on line and Omar at your service to call for trouble - we had two issues and he helped us right away!)

atyourservicecancun.com for transportation - Felipe was great with all of our group and of course

dinnerentertainmentislamujeres.com for our catering needs - Marla and Janvier were AWESOME, great food, entertainment and people!!

thanks again to Sandra and her team for a wonderful family vacation - this house was PERFECT and would highly recommend the property!

  • EXCELLENT PROPERTY!

Stayed at Casa de las Palmas from July 4-11, 2015 and had a wonderful stay. Our group was 12 adults (6 couples) so we occupied the main house and Casita A.

Sandra was wonderful to deal with before and during our stay. She answered all my questions and made herself available by phone any time I wanted to talk and not just about the property, but the island, where to go, what to do, converting currency, renting golf carts, you name it.

The place is exactly what you see - beautiful and well maintained. This was our first time to Isla Mujeres and we feel we made an excellent choice and would rent the place again without hesitation.

The main house and casita were well furnished with very comfortable beds with lots of cooking utensils, spices around the house to use, plenty of freezer/refrigerator space, etc.

If you are looking for a really nice, well kept, well furnished place to stay on the island, look no further. Sandra will go out of her way to ensure your stay is enjoyable!

  • EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY!

We had a group of 15 people from 3 different families and we could not have asked for a better property to accommodate us! Our group has been to Isla Mujeres before and while we have always had great accommodations, this rental tops them all!

Each family was able to have their own space since we rented the Villa and both Casitas. The buildings were spacious, comfortable and well stocked with whatever you needed to make your own meals. Our group even encountered a rainy day but with the size of the Villa we were all able to be inside together without feeling cramped.

There were even games to keep our kids occupied and off of their electronics. The pool area was great! Even with all of the kids we had along, there was plenty of room for everyone both in the pool and around. You were able to sit in the sun or in the shade with plenty of chairs for everyone. The kids also enjoyed being able to go across the street and look for shells on the beach.

The property is well maintained both inside and out. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to not have any shortage of bathrooms.

One of the things I miss most is the view of the Caribbean...it is stunning from the master bedrooms! I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be renting there again!

  • BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!

I am so sorry to have taken so long to send you a note on our stay at your absolutely lovely home. Our stay from November 1 through November 10th 2012 was just about the most fun we've had on Isla (our 4th trip).

If the Island it self were not so beautiful, we could have simply stayed at your home and been more than happy....beach access, shell hunting, sunrise. The house itself was magnificent, such grandeur inside and out! The grounds were impeccable, we saw a large turtle going up the walkway to the house, only one scorpion (baby) and one little tiny garden snake....nothing that would cause any concern, just what is expected in such beautiful lush tropical surroundings.

The pool was refreshing, very large, clean and just plain FUN for the entire family (age range 9 months to 53 years...) My grandson did the banana tree "check" twice a day to see if any were ready and ripe to eat...not on this trip. The coconut trees were pretty full and the gardener opened several for our group. The outdoor terrace furniture had been replaced during our stay and it was beautiful. We did flip cushions for "Negro", as this is where he likes to meet and greet your guests, which I must say is very unusual, as if he knew who we were and knew we belonged.

If we had a delivery....he knew and let us know a "stranger" was on property, great dog!!! The inside of the house was showcase beautiful, but also allowed for comfort and privacy for larger groups. The kitchen had all the amenities of home and then some, we did do lots of cooking due to having 3 children under the age of 4 and rather fixed taste buds at this age.

The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, beds were very comfortable not your standard run of the mill mattress. The one absolute frivolous bonus was the washer/dryer, which means LESS luggage on the plane and saved on check in luggage fees...(have to find ways to save).

I can not think of one thing that your house did not offer that we needed, lots of spices, kitchen gadgets, clean fresh linens and towels, bath products, candles (replaced as used...just the right thing to do), oh yea and hammocks in all the right places, also the telescope was great, however with the 3 young children we did put that in the closed off pantry after use.

Your attention to detail was impressive, we can not thank you enough for sharing your lovely home with us Isla "wanna be" homeowners. We would recommend your house 100% to our friends, family and anyone who's interest was peaked.

  • WE WILL BE BACK AND CANNOT WAIT!

This property is stunning and even better than described! It is very well maintained and the owners, Karl and Sandra, are such a pleasure to get to know if you are lucky enough to be there while they are.

We loved the location toward the south end of the island. It is so easy to get wherever you want to go on the golf carts available to rent at numerous places on the island.

The grounds at this property are so serene, the perfect blend of grass, plants, trees, and pool - you won't want to leave! But you have to leave, because the island and all it offers beckons.

Make a day trip to Playa Norte, shop and dine on Hidalgo Ave, visit Garrafon and snorkel, dine at Punta Sur, and make a brief visit at the turtle farm (your donation will help keep it going).

We stayed in Casita A. It was appointed very well, and the kitchen has everything you need should you choose to cook some meals and enjoy drinks or snacks there. Everything worked perfectly, except the microwave, which the owners promptly replaced! It was unbelievable the attention to detail these people have, making for the best stay you can imagine. We loved the front deck in the morning and the rear patio in the afternoon. One is tempted to give a poor review to keep this wonderful property a secret!

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

Mother treated the family (14 total-all adults) to a week long vacation on Isla Mujeres. There were only a couple properties that could handle a group of 14. We are so glad we chose Casa de Las Palmas. The property was spectacular. The staff was excellent and the location can't be beat. Sandra was great to work with.

Isla Mujeres is a magical place. Very authentic and only lightly sprinkled with tourism compared to the other places. If you are going with a large group, treat yourself to this beautiful private compound that is painted in the middle of paradise!

  • FANTASTIC PROPERTY, LOVELY STAY

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

Casa De Las Palmas was everything we had hoped for. We were a group of five family members and occupied three of the rooms in the main villa.

The property is quite amazing—better than in the photos. The grounds and the villa are well kept and very clean with nice linens and comfy beds. There was a family of three staying in casita A during our stay and at times we shared the pool and grounds with them—we knew this before renting so we didn’t mind.

The kitchen is very well equipped—we cooked on several occasions and found everything necessary.

A cleaning person comes in every other day to clean the entire place and change sheets and towels. Beach towels are also provided but were changed just once during a one-week stay—It would have been nice if they were changed more often as they did get rather dirty fast.

The island is safe and very laid back. The property is a 10- to 15-minute golf cart ride into town, which ended up being great for us because we preferred to be away from the crowds. There are several restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-minute ride, which should satisfy most needs. Having a golf cart is great but you can also call a taxi with the cell phone provided at the house.

The beach across the street is rocky and not swimmable—though a couple of folks from our group did take a dip—but it’s a nice place to explore pool tides, barnacles, little fish and snails.

All and all, we were very happy with the property, the island and dealing with Sandra and the property manager and her staff, who answered questions, helped arrange transportation and golf carts for us.

They really thought of everything to make the property and experience enjoyable. I had reservations sending money to someone I didn’t know but it all turned out great. Looking forward to going back!

  • LOVELY PLACE TO STAY ON QUIET SOUTHERN END OF ISLA MUJERES

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

We rented Casita A for a week where we stayed with our college aged daughter during her spring break.

The location of the casita is in the nicest part of Isla Mujeres, away from the bustle of town in a quiet location. We woudl definitely recommend having a golf cart during your stay is it makes it much easier to get around and go at any time. There is convenient grocery shopping very nearby as well as a number of good restaurant options on the south side as well as in town accessible by golf cart. You could take taxis but unless you want to just hang out at the house, I wouldn't recommend that.

The furniture is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the essentials. We made tons of fruit drinks and found it easy to find wonderful produce everywhere.

There is beach across the street which is pretty; listening to the waves is soothing, but one cannot do a lot of swimming there as it is rocky.

North Beach, at the other end of the island (about 15min golf cart drive) has beautiful sand and swimming but can be crowded and noisy mid day.

There are wonderful snorkeling trips for a reasonable price. We also spent a lot of time hanging out on the property which is beautifully landscaped and has a wonderfully maintained infinity pool.

This is a perfect location for a large group to rent out all the properties. If you are going as a small group, you may have to share the facilities with other parties staying in the other casita and/or the large house. Generally this would not be a problem, but one should know about it.

Overall we loved our stay at Casa De las Palmas and would go again.

  • SIMPLY AMAZING

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

Our family stayed at Casa De Las Palmas for one week and boy were we impressed. We had 5 adults and 4 kids (ages 3-6) and rented the villa and both casitas. We were looking for a relaxing sunny vacation with activities for the kids and to be away from the hustle and bustle. We got exactly what we were hoping for and if you have similar interests, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

    HIGHLIGHTS

The Villa has 4 bedrooms (all on the 2nd level), each with an en suite bathroom. Two rooms face the pool/ocean and each could be considered a master bedroom. Nice tile bathrooms (6 total) throughout. The kitchen is well appointed with 2 refrigerators, a wine cooler, gas grill, coffee maker, and an assortment of spices along with cooking utilities. Air conditioning is available in each room. Views are amazing. This was perfect for my wife and 3 young kids who need their own bedroom during travel. The only thing missing from this place is a dishwasher and washer/dryer. However, there is a laundry mat 4 blocks away where you can drop off your clothes and pick up later clean and folded

Each casita is two stories with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a smaller kitchen. Beautiful views of the pool and ocean. Quality of construction is similar to the villa. It was perfect to have some separate space and sleeping quarters for this extended family vacation

The pool is amazing- as demonstrated in the photos. The grounds are meticulously maintained. There is a grill and a pool side bathroom to use as well. The ocean in front of the house is beautiful but rocky and not for swimming. The beaches at the north end of the island are great and a nice ride in a golf cart (10 min)

This resort is on the Caribbean side of the island towards the south end. It is relatively isolated which was perfect for us. In fact, a couple of times throughout the week, we had a family of 4 sheep (including 2 baby sheep) wander onto the grounds which was more than exciting for the kids. The north end of the island is where the main beach and town are, but this is only 10 min away via golf cart (I highly recommend a golf cart which holds 4 adults)

There are a number of great restaurants, along with a grocery store, that are mid island and 5 min via a golf cart. Places we loved included Bahama Mama, Mango Café, and Casa Rinaldi. El Charco and Bastros are also close by with great authentic (and cheap) food in a setting of plastic chairs and tables. Casa Rinaldi (mid island, Cancun side) had amazing food and was the most expensive. Beer at Bahama Mama was only 1 dollar and we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there- great service and we just loved this place.

The island is safe. You can walk anywhere at any time. There are definitely some sections of income disparity and many of the street signs were missing but we never felt uncomfortable

Vicki and Sandra were great with our numerous pre-vacation queries and with questions during (and after) our stay

The CARM transfer from airport to ferry terminal was seamless and I highly recommend this service (can also pre-purchase ferry tickets with this and use a credit card)

In summary, this place is simply amazing. If you want a relaxing getaway with a great pool and stunning setting, this is an ideal spot

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

We had a fantastic time on Isla at this property. Located outside of town, away from the tourists, yet close enough to easily get back into town via cheap taxis or golf carts.

We rented the entire facility and enjoyed the privacy and space it offered. Everything on this property is very well maintained and maid service was included. Both the owner and property management promptly returned emails and were very pleasant to work with.

  • THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY ON A QUIET AND BEAUTIFUL ISLAND

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

I didn't know that places like this still existed. Isla Mujeres is a true gem. The climate is amazing, the scenery is beautiful and the people are wonderful.

Casa de las Palmas is near the south end of the island, so it is a quiet area away from the town and busier beaches up north. We enjoyed simply relaxing and enjoying everything at the Casa as much as going out to see the sights.

Sandra and Karl were simply awesome hosts, going out of their way to make sure everything about our visit was perfect.

The property is immaculate. Everything was clean, well maintained and properly functioning. We could tell that the owners are continuously improving the building and the grounds to make them even better than it already are.

I can see why so many people go back there year after year.

  • DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS PLACE TO RELAX

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

This was our first Isla stay and it could not have been better! Great hosts, and a beautiful, and ridiculously well-maintained property. We were very happy to be away from all of the hustle and bustle, and enjoyed the stunning pool and back yard.

We had Casita B, and there were no guest in the other casita. Even if there had been, it would still have been amazing. Everything we needed was right there, and we were so well looked after by the team there!

We had a massage, and loved that. The pool was incredibly relaxing, and the quiet was wonderful. Such a fantastic place!

Definitely rent a golf cart. You can walk in to town but it is a healthy walk indeed for us lazy Americans!

  • ABSOLUTE PARADISE

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Casa de las Palmas! We rented the Villa + Casita A, to house 11 women for a Bachelorette party.

The property was amazing in every and exceeded all of our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals when we felt like dining in.

Having a cell phone at the house was also extremely helpful for calling cabs when we wanted to head into town (we opted not to rent golf carts due to the number of people).

The staff was very prompt and helpful regarding a few minor requests we had. All in all, it was a great vacation - many thanks to Sandra, her family, and the full property staff!

  • RELAXING, BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

My friends and I spent a week at Casa De Les Palmas and it was a wonderful, beautiful getaway.

The owner and property manager helped in our planning process and went above and beyond to address every detail to make our trip unique and memorable.

The property is beautifully taken care of and fully stocked with all supplies to entertain family and friends. The state-of-the art kitchen and infinity pool enabled us to enjoy each other's company and relax right on the property grounds.

The proximity of the ocean just across the street made for breathtaking walks, while the convenience of downtown, just minutes away, made for beautiful days out walking, eating, and enjoying the whole island.

I highly recommend Casa De Les Palmas for a relaxing, beautiful getaway.

  • HANDS DOWN, OUT NEW FAVORITE!

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

We just returned from a trip of a lifetime at Casa De Las Palmas! It was our first trip to Isla Mujeres and we are now in love with this gem of an island. This 40th birthday celebration for my husband was months in the making as we needed a place that would acomodate our group of 14.

Upon our arrival, the property exceeded our expectations on every level. The grounds are beautifully kept with lots of Palms of course, the pool is spectacular and the view of the ocean is breathtaking.

The interior of both Casitas and the Main Villa were equally stunning and comfortable. With a group of our size, we loved having so many spaces to gather both inside and out. Also loved having plenty of shaded areas poolside to take a break from the sun, but still soak in the view.

Working with Sandra was a delight. She was incredibly professional from beginning to end, prompt with replies and a wealth of information as I had many questions leading up to our arrival. She always invited me to ask anything, anytime! I appreciated that so much. We left feeling refreshed and well cared for by the lovely staff. A gift.

We highly recommend Casa De Las Palmas for your next trip to Isla...as long as it doesn't conflict with ours. 😉 It will not disappoint

  • A WEEK TO REMEMBER

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

We had the entire complex rented for our family, which included 6 kids, their partners, and another set of parents. There was enough room here for everyone to enjoy - pool, sunning, cooking, relaxing and socializing. The villa kitchen was great and it is a good thing, because we all love to cook! The wine cooler came in handy as well 🙂 We definitely would consider a return trip.

We were on the island for my step-daughter's wedding (@ Zuma Beach Club), which is a fabulous place to have a beach wedding.

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

Our week at Casa De Las Palmas was idyllic. We loved waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach across the quiet street.

We enjoyed hanging out in the cool infinity pool or lazing in the hammocks with a book. We had a great time playing board games in the evening at the big table in the beautiful dining room.

We would definitely return to Casa De Las Palmas!

  • IT WAS GREAT TO BE BACK

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

This was our second trip to Isla Mujeres, and our second time staying at Casa De Las Palmas (Casita A). I think, enough said! If someone stays twice, it’s got to be good, right? But for those who are still waiting to hear more, read on.

We stayed here again for several reasons. Sandra and Karl are wonderful to deal with and so genuinely friendly. They truly care about your stay at their property and on the island.

The property is well maintained, the pool is very large, and it is kept clean. You will enjoy the tropical gardens around the pool, truly making you feel like you are in your own private oasis.

The beds are so comfy, actually more comfortable than the one I sleep on at home!

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need (fridge, range, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee pot, pans, dishes, utensils), and there is also a grill out by the pool for guests to use.

Candy does a good job with housekeeping and restocking towels and bathroom tissue, etc.

Even though Casitas A and B are set up as side-by-side units, you can have privacy from the other guests if that is your desire. Each unit has two terraces in the front, plus one in the back. The two in the front are completely private from the terraces of the unit next door. Personally, we enjoy meeting new people and frequently visited with the other guests staying at the property and enjoyed time at the pool with them as well.

The road runs in between the Caribbean and the property. No worries crossing it for a leisurely walk down the shoreline. This area is mainly rocky with some sandy areas interspersed.

We prefer to stay in a more quiet and relaxed area such as this. It is wonderful to have the slider open to receive the breeze and sound of waves crashing.

The activity of downtown and Playa Norte are only 10 minutes away by golf cart. Even at this end of the island, we saw available taxis frequently as well.

Go anywhere you want, we have never felt unsafe anywhere on the island. Punta Sur, Garrafon, and Captain Dulche’s Museum are all nearby.

I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Enjoy!

  • FABULOUS RETREAT FOR A GROUP CELEBRATION

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

On behalf of our group, we would like to say a sincere thank you to Saundra, Karl and their property managers for our wonderful stay this past week.

There were 16 of us that took over this entire compound for 6 days to celebrate my 50th birthday!

Our group was amazed at the ammenities, the luxurious accomodations, the ocean views and the spectacular chef's kitchen! We all enjoyed our own private space, yet came together as a group in the main villa for breakfasts.

The pool area provided a relaxing afternoon as we basked in the un and enjoyed music and good conversation! If there was ever a need for something, the property manager had someone at our doorstep quickly.

We enjoyed having golf carts and scooters delivered to our door too upon our arrival.

Please note when booking this property that maid service is every other day so re-using towels is needed.

The beds are extremely comfortable and we woke up feeling refreshed! We were searching for a property that was away from the downtown hustle and bustle for this particular trip.

As a result, we found ourselves in golf carts many times to get downtown for restaurants and the beach. However, its just a 10-15 minute golf cart ride.

  • THE PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE!!!

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

We stayed at the Casa de Las Palmas for 3 weeks. Dec16/12-Jan6/13. What a lovely jewel!

We are a large blended/extended family so we are always on the lookout for houses that can accommodate us.

This was my husband's and my 5th trip to the island of Isla and we found this house when we were there last January and searched it on the internet.

From the beginning everything was wonderful! Vicki went out of her way to meet our daughter and her family and go over everything at the house. The housekeeper Candy was amazing. We were a large group and even though we tried to keep things organized, I know it was probably hard to clean up around us and our stuff!

The main house is comprised of 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.... beautiful. Air conditioning through the whole house. Screens on all the windows for those of us who wished to enjoy the ocean breeze.

The duplex at the other end of the property had two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in each unit. Our family rented the whole property as there was 16 of us from the ages of 18 months to 60 plus years old - we used the main house as our general congregating area... we ate meals, socialized and played cards there.

The pool is beautiful. Bigger than any property we have rented at before. Be aware that there is a deep end. We loved it as it gave room for actual swimming.

Across the street from the duplex is the ocean. Be aware that this is not a swimming beach! The is a small area with sand. We enjoyed beachcombing/strolling but if we wanted to hang out at a beach then we went to Capitan Dulche's which was a 10-15 minute walk from the house on the other side of the island or took the golf cart that we had rented up to North Beach for the afternoon.

Any issues (which were very small!) were promptly answered and then dealt with. We had a power outage one evening for over an hour and so I phoned the property manager to check and see if it was just us or a bigger area.... not sure which it was but she came down to personally check!

    Recommendations/Observations:

    1. Rent a golf cart! It seems expensive at between $50-$60 per day - however it is a great way to see the island and this house is off the beaten track. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to walk into town which we did but not every day....

    2. The owners provide a local cell phone for use.... we found this very thoughtful and invaluable. They also have a binder with information about the house, restaurants, rentals etc. Make sure you read this - it was a great resource!

    3. The house and Isla itself is an oasis for relaxation. Isla is not really a party place although I am sure if you really tried you could find something. It is not like Cancun! If you are looking for lot's of nightlife then this is not the place for you! If you are looking for a place to relax, catch up with family and/or friends and just hang out then this is the place for you. The house is not cheap but it is a premium luxury home with all amenities that you could think of and a great staff to provide support.

    4. The main house has 2 fridges and each unit in the duplex has 1 fridge. We found that having especially the 2 fridges in the main house was invaluable as we could use one for beverages and the other for food. With a large group of people this is always an issue with only 1 fridge.

    5. I think if you are renting not in peak season (Christmas) you can rent either the house or one of the duplex units. They have designed 3 distinct areas around the pool and so I think it would still feel fairly private if you were renting a unit at the same time as someone else was renting. The yard is also very large and each unit has a lower and upper balcony.

I would recommend this place and will return!

  • PEACEFUL ISLAND PARADISE ON THE QUIET SIDE OF ISLA

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

Immersed in the culture of the island, this vacation spot is perfect if you want to get away and find total peace and relaxation.

Small enough to get to know everyone, yet has a town where you can go to be around others enjoying their time away from the stress of work.

The hosts/owners are the most incredible hosts of any vacation place I've ever rented. They know everyone and every good place to eat. They can tell you where to buy jewelry made by the locals.

The grounds and buildings are immaculate.

Inside, the decor and furnishings are spotless and you really feel like you are a part of Isla with all the colorful paint and decorations.

The saltwater pool, the palms with edible coconuts, and the Caribbean across the little roadway are exactly what I needed after a long winter in Ohio. I did not want to leave!

I've only returned to the same place once for vacation (Cozumel), but this beats Cozumel. I shall return!!!!!!! Having visited St. Croix, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Aruba, and Bahamas, this is now my favorite place.

Karl and Sandra are two of the most down-to-earth, friendly, knowledgeable, fun people I've ever met and their attention to details did not go unnoticed.

Rent a golf cart and the island is yours to explore. Look for the out-of-way places to eat with phenomenal food for a good price. What else can i say? What are you waiting for?

  • RELAXING, REFRESHING, THIS WONDERFUL OASIS AWAITS

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

From the moment we arrived on Isla until our departure, we felt welcome and safe.

Having not stayed at Casa De las Palmas before, we were certainly impressed with the accommodations and services the owners have on site. You can tell they have put alot of work and effort into making this retreat into everything a traveler is looking for in a getaway.

Sandra is very friendly and enthusiastic, seeing to it that each guest was happy with their needs and stay.

Comfortable beds and A/C was a big plus, making our nights restful and refreshing.

All the necessary items were in the units making our shopping trips to the local markets enjoyable, knowing that upon our return we could prepare all the food as we saw fit.

Each unit has a wonderful view of the ocean as well or you can retreat to the pool area and relax amongst the palm trees truly giving it the "oasis " effect.

What we found very enjoyable was the local knowledge the owners had about places to visit, restaurants and things to do. We certainly took advantage of the location and our morning walks took in beautiful ocean scenery and various styles of homes along the shoreline.

The resort is situated just across the street from the ocean shore and we spent alot of time combing the beach for hidden gems and just enjoying the nice breeze.

Being located just a short golf cart ride from the central part of town was not a drawback either, as we enjoyed the flexibility of the golf carts and being able to explore the islands many authentic restaurants, shops and beaches.

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, with friendly / caring owners, look no further !!

    ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿

My (now) husband and I stayed at Sandra and Karl's place the week leading up to our Isla Mujeres wedding. The house couldn't have been more lovely-- it's even more beautiful than the photos!

Sandra was available as soon as we got there to take us through the excellent guide she has prepared for her guests, and she was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process.

Isla Mujeres is a wonderful place; we hope to come back every year, and if we can wrangle enough people, we want to stay at Casa de las Palmas every time!
